"Graded" Generic - Pre 1933

These coins are referred to as, “Bullion with Muscle”, they range from Type 1 Gold Dollars to Twenty Dollar Gold pieces. Generally speaking, these types of Gold coins lag the Bullion markets, although not always. Sometimes you will see Gold Bullion run, while Generic or Pre-1933 Gold will fall to new lower levels. This is believed to be caused by investors selling more coins onto the market than can be absorbed which causes prices to fall temporarily. These are the Dips we look for as investors in Certified, pre-1933 Gold. Always ask for a Buy/Sell spread on Generic Gold and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT pay Retail for Generic Gold coins.
