Beautiful Flowing Hair Half Dime
First Year of Issue
This splendid 1st year issue, 1794 Half dime, is just right for a high quality type set of U.S. designs. This is the first year of issue and one of only two years with the flowing hair design. The 1794 dies were not used for the first time until 1795 in which 86,416 half dimes were struck, with perhaps 10% or fewer being of this design.
